As a part of our tenth birthday celebrations Albert's Favourites are bringing two exceptionally talented recent signings to perform live in Brighton for the first time. Arjuna Oakes brings his trio to deliver a set that effortlessly blends his deeply emotional soul, jazz and funk, from debut album While I'm Distracted and even further back into his extensive catalogue. Irini Arabatzi just a year ago delivered an intoxicating mix of sunshine soul and songwriting on her debut EP "Songs for Them". In her solo show, armed with her acoustic guitar and soaring vocals, she shares these beautiful pieces, alongside new music and captivating songs from her Greek heritage. To round it out, Scrimshire will be bringing a box of Albert's Favourites classics on vinyl for a little label retrospective, plus some additional "Favourites" to warm the space up for a very special evening.
