DIME create ambient dystopian soundscapes, anthemic Melodies and deep driving club beats, reminiscent of the early 00’s. ’Sitting Stealth’ is DIME’s 3rd release and marks their first time collaborating with other artists.

The new EP explores the challenges of modern life, the influence that media and technology have on our collective consciousness and the struggle to remain authentic, compassionate and united in increasingly uncertain times. Featuring vocals from Arjuna Oakes, Soren Bryce and Verushka as well as two instrumentals, both heavily inspired by UK dance music and recorded in a single improvised take.

DIME will be joined by special guest vocalist Verushka. An artist, producer and DJ based in South London whose music collapses earthy, moving soundscapes into jazz-tinged, soulful compositions. Her self-written and arranged 2022 album Not Even Bliss received support from BBC London, 6 Music and Jazz FM. Now, after hermitting away in her SE London studio and spending time building her session and DJ career, Verushka is back with new music.

Support from Sandy Buglass Trio, London-based instrumental band blending jazz-influenced improvisation, post-hardcore energy, and post-rock ambience into a sound that is both angular and melodic. The trio focuses on raw live performance, drawing influence from artists such as Omar Rodríguez-López, Bill Frisell, and Mark Hollis.
